The patient journey, step by step

From your first message to follow-up after you return home. At every step you can see what you do and what we do. You can stop at any point.

About timing: it depends on the hospital and on the specialist’s availability. We give you a realistic timeline for your own case rather than a standard one.

  1. 1

    Get in touch

    You

Send a short message through the form or by email.

    We

Reply, explain how it works, and tell you how to share your files.

  2. 2

    Send your records

    You

Share your imaging as DICOM files, your reports, and the photo page of your international passport.

    We

Check that everything opens and is complete, ask for anything missing, and prepare a case summary in Chinese for the specialist.

  3. 3

    Remote consultation

    You

Join a video call with the specialist. Bring your questions, written down if that helps.

    We

Book the consultation, interpret during it, and, on request, send you a translated written summary afterwards.

  4. 4

    Take your time to decide

    You

Decide whether to travel. You might discuss it with your own doctors and family first.

    We

Answer your questions. We will not chase you.

  5. 5

    Plan your visit to Beijing

    You

Arrange your travel and visa, and decide who will come with you.

    We

Help arrange appointments, assist with hospital paperwork where available, and share practical tips on where to stay.

  6. 6

In Beijing: consultation and, if recommended, surgery

    You

See the specialist in person, have any tests, and decide on treatment with the surgeon.

    We

Go with you to appointments, interpret, and help you through admission and discharge.

  7. 7

    Follow-up at home

    You

Have follow-up imaging locally if requested, and tell us how you are doing.

    We

Pass new results to the specialist and coordinate remote follow-up consultations.
